Welcome to CSRF
Centre for Shridevi Research Foundation (CSRF), Tumkur, India was established in the year 2010 under the auspices of Sri Shridevi Charitable Trust (R.) by the founder Trustee, Dr. M. R. Hulinaykar. The Centre has been recognized by Tumkur University, Tumkur, India. The CSRF has initiated various research activities on different innovative objectives. The Centre is working with good infrastructure coupled with highly Qualified Scientists and Research scholars. Centre is implementing various External Projects sponsored by NABARD- RIF (Rural Innovation Fund) Scheme in collaboration with Centre for Sustainable Technologies (CST), Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
The ‘CSRF’ also has a Project sponsored by DST, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India in the area of Microbial biotechnology. The other Projects are in Pipeline from the different funding bodies like, UGC/DBT and ‘VTU Research Grant Scheme’ respectively on various themes like, Phyto-chemical analysis, ethno-pharmacology, Cancer Biology, bio-prospecting of folk medicinal plants and Water-shed development through Rain water Harvesting etc.
In view of the fast developments in these areas and allied fields, the Centre has plans to collaborate with National and International bodies like GKVK, Bengaluru, Institute of Virology, Sri Venkataeshwara University, Thirupathy, Andhrapradesh.
The CSRF in association with other groups of Shridevi Educational Institutes like, Department of Biotechnology, Department of Chemistry, Department of Physics, Arts, Commerce and Management Studies etc has excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, Library and internet facilities. The CSRF is engaged in various research activities based on the motto of Developing Technologies for improving livelihood of both rural and urban people. Besides, the students will be encouraged to take up the project which helps them to build a strong personality.
The centre is recognized to undertake research work in the disciplines Mechanical Sciences, Electronics, Computer Sciences, Management Studies, Social Works, Political Science, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics and Biotechnology etc leading to Ph.D degree.
